Obituary

Saratoga Springs, NY - Agnes "Nessie" Docherty McIntyre passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023.

Agnes was born July 25, 1933 in Dumbarton, Scotland. She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Jane Docherty. She raise her family in Brooklyn, NY, where she worked as a cook for the Redemptorist priests of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish for 25 years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas, eight of her siblings and son-in-law Alan Nagle.

Agnes is survived by her six children, Veronica Celmer (David Faccin), Thomas McIntyre (Shawn) Maureen Nagle, Brian McIntyre (Lisa Rachels);, Carolyn Sweeney (Jerry) and Stephen McIntyre (Christine), thirteen grandchildren; Andrew McIntyre, Matthew McIntre, James Nagle, Morgan McIntyre, Ryan McIntyre, Campbell McIntyre, Jayne McIntyre, Caileigh Sweeney, Elizabeth Sweeney, John Sweeney, Sloane McIntyre, Paige McIntyre, Quinn McIntyre and her beloved sister Theresa McEntyre.

Relatives and friends may call 4 - 7pm Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (518-584-5373).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Avenue.

Burial will be private.
