Saratoga Springs, NY - Agnes Lovering O’Brien Hunter passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 9, 2026 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 79.

Born on January 10, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of late Agnes Fraser and Carroll Lovering. She grew up in Nassau, Bahamas and later moved to Bethlehem, PA. She graduated from Marywood College. Agnes worked at Ballston Spa Middle School for many years and worked at the Saratoga Springs Public Library following her retirement. She was an avid bridge player and loved to knit socks for her grandkids.

She is survived by her kids, Katherine Huszar of Saratoga Springs, NY; Sean O’Brien and his partner, Cambria Reed of New York, NY. She was “Mimi” to 4 granddaughters, Kara, Isabelle, Olivia, and Kinley. She is predeceased by her loving husband, David Hunter.

Relatives and friends may call from 10am to 12pm Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
