Saratoga Springs, NY - Agnes D. (Medved) Silic of Monroe St., passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 81. Born on Oct. 6, 1930 in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Barbara (Cindric) Medved. Her numerous hobbies included ceramics, crocheting, quilting, gardening and planting flowers. Her greatest love was for her children and family. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Merio W. Silic; two daughters, Lorraine and Louise; one son, Merio W. Silic, Jr.; a grandson, Kyle Silic and her siblings, Clara Lesyk, Mary Topoly, Andrew Medved, Anna Kireta, Katherine Kalata, Eva Buettner and John Medved. Survivors include her children, Theresa Silic of Voorheesville, Rose (Matthew) Brady of Middlebury, VT, Karin (Guy) Martin of Newington, CT, Rudy (Sheila) Silic of Stillwater, Stephen Silic of Gansevoort, Mary (Michael) Bull of Poughkeepsie, Thomas (Sue Saxton) Silic of Gansevoort, Peter Silic of Saratoga Springs and Marcus Silic of Gansevoort; her grandchildren, Lauren A. Brady, Molly E. Martin, Hannah F. Martin, Zachary T. Silic, Theresa S. Silic and Nicole D. Bull; her sisters, Lucy Yurich of Youngstown, OH, Margie Lucas of Mt. Pleasant, PA, Helen Rose of Greensburg, PA, Joan Letterine of Northuntingdon, PA and Dorothy Capasso of Greensburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 in St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. Burial will follow at 11am at the Gerald B.H.
