Saratoga Springs Alice Mary Flannigan 75, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 after a long illness at Wesley Health Care. Born on November 11, 1933 in Avondale, Newfoundland, Canada to Leo and Mary Jo Flannigan. She was a homemaker and later worked at Memorial Hospital. She is predeceased by both her parents; sister, Mary; brothers, Jack, Dan, Leo, Ned and Tom. Survivors include her six children, Christopher, Patricia, Stephen, Linda, Dorothy (Andrew), and David; brothers, Gus (Geraldine), George and Jerry Flannigan and sisters, Annie Howco and Winnie Mason all of Newfoundland Canada; grandchildren, Michael, Wayne (Amy), Seth and Robert, Michael, Kevin and Jason, Angela, Joseph and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Michael, Alexandra ,Wyatt, and soon to be baby girl Wehnau as well as many nieces and nephews. In honor of Mom we ask that you pray for peace and understanding amongst one another for it is of her fondest wishes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at St. Clements Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will be in the family plot at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale, Newfoundland at a later date.
