IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alice Marie
Mancini
May 6, 1942 – August 12, 2025
Saratoga Springs, NY- Alice Marie Mancini, 83, of Saratoga Springs, New York, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025.
Born on May 6, 1942, in Schenectady, NY, to the late, Nicholas Mancini and Angelina Vendetti, Alice grew up in the Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake area. She was a proud graduate of Burnt Hills– Ballston Lake High School and The College of Saint Rose, where she formed lifelong friendships and nurtured a deep love of learning.
Alice spent much of her career at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna, where her dedication, sharp mind, and steady work ethic left a lasting impression on her colleagues.
She had a gift for making any place she lived feel like home. A longtime resident of Ballston Lake, she later retired to Saratoga Springs, where she found joy in the charm of the city and the beauty of the nearby countryside. Alice's heart was always open to her family, her friends, and every animal that crossed her path. She loved horses, adored her dogs, and was known to spoil any pet lucky enough to meet her. She also had a deep passion for traveling, visiting destinations including Ireland, Australia, and Italy just to name a few.
Alice's faith was an important part of her life, and for many years she was a devoted member of Our Lady of Grace Church in Ballston Lake.
She is survived by her brother, John R. Mancini of Ballston Lake, and her nephews, John H. Mancini of Clifton Park and Bernard Mancini of Saratoga Springs. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and the way she made others feel valued and cared for.
