Saratoga Springs, NY – Allan Hans Waldinger, 80, passed away at Albany Medical Center on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Born in New York City on April 20, 1940, he was the son of the late Hans and Henriette Clausen Waldinger.

Allan graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1957 and then from Mohawk Valley Technical Institute in 1959 before serving in the United States Army. After serving, from 1963 to 1965, he began his career working at the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation until retiring in 1999.

Allan is predeceased by his parents, and leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Joyce Miller Waldinger; children Mark (Laura) Waldinger, Glenn (Shannon) Waldinger, Scott (Andrea) Waldinger, and Todd (Laura) Harrington; grandchildren Ryan and Matthew; and sister Adele (Jonathan) Wagman.

Memorial donations may be made in Allan's name to the Community Hospice, 170 Lawrence Street. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

A committal service with military honors will take place on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Allan's birthday, at 11am at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
