Saratoga Springs, NY - Alma Griffith , 81, fell asleep in death surrounded by her family Wednesday, Jan 6, 2010. She was a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs. She enjoyed life, her family and friends. Her greatest joy for over 30 years was to touch many lives as she engaged in her volunteer bible education work in the community. She was predeceased by her brothers, Albert Campbell and George Campbell; her sisters, Hazel and Helga Scott and son Johnnie Griffith,Jr. Alma is survived by her husband of 62 years, Johnnie W. Griffith; children, Linda Griffith, Luwana Griffith-Brandon, Albert Griffith ,Lisa Hill; son-in-law Brian Hill; daughters-in-law Diane Griffith and Sharon Knapik; grandchildren, Lanyel , Latrice , Leana ,Cara and Lowell and nephews George and Guy Campbell . Memorial services will be held at 3pm Saturday ,Jan. 16, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 4299 Rt. 50, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Family will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm.
