Obituary
SARATOGA SPRINGS - Andrea K. (Orrill) DeGeorgio passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 after a long illness.
Andrea loved the fall season, Christmas time and cats, but most of all, she loved her family. She always did her best to let them know they were the love of her life. She was a gifted writer and a talented therapist who helped many people during her career as a social worker. Andrea was a sensitive soul and a loyal friend. She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her humor and her empathy.
Survivors include her husband, Paul DeGeorgio; children, Liam and Madison DeGeorgio; mother Linda (Tom) Davis; father Robert (Dorothy) Orrill of New Hope, PA; sister Jeannie (Javier) Gutierrez of Passadena, CA and step-sister Miriam (Jim) Davis-Doern.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 pm to 4 pm Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Northeastern Association of the Blind, 301 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12206 or the Arthritis Foundation, 1717 Central Ave., Suite 105, Albany, NY 12205.
