Obituary

Saratoga Springs, NY - Angeline Harriett (Levo) Capone entered into eternal life at the age of 92, on Saturday (Aug. 19, 2017).

Born on June 30, 1925 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Harriett Richmond and Anthony Levo and is also predeceased by her husband Anthony Capone; her son Mark Capone and her brother Robert Levo.

Angeline graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and worked at the Adirondack Trust Company for over 25 years. She was involved in many organizations including the VFW, Principessa Elena Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Ladies of Charity and the Saratoga Hospital Guild.

Survivors include her brother Anthony Levo and sisters-in-law, Pauline Levo and Sheila Levo; daughters Angela Pringle (Dr. Robert Pringle) and Marcia Okosky (Dr. Paul Okosky), all of Saratoga Springs, Camille Capone (Barry Dunn) of Boulder, CO, Mary Capone Benko (Tim Benko) of Longmont, CO and son Gerard Capone (Jan Capone) of Lafayette, CO; her grandchildren Demian, Christopher, Matthew, Bryanna, Kristen, Antonio, Kyra, Andrew, Kurtis, Markie, Tony, Maya and Raven and great-grandchildren Storm, Chase, Tyler, Alexa, Tate, Rye, Francesca, Charlie, Sebastian and Antonio.

Angeline adored all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, taking any opportunity she could to talk about how special each of them was.

She was a traveler, from the mountains of Colorado to the canals of Venice, she went wherever her feet would take her. Some of her fondest memories were spent with family and friends at her camp on Sacandaga Lake.

Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11am Wednesday morning at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway 584-5373. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am Wednesday in St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Avenue and burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. The CD of A and Ladies of Charity will assemble at 11:30 Wednesday in St. Clements's Church and serve as an honorary escort.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Wesley Nursing Home Foundation, 131 Lawrence St. or to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Many thanks to the staff at Wesley Nursing Home both on 3 Hathorn and 5 Springs and also to Community Hospice nurses who cared so lovingly for our mother.

She will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.
