Ballston Spa, NY - Ann L. (Morris) Jewell, 84, formerly of Groveton, New Hampshire, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia. Ann was born in Groveton on April 9, 1931, to Eva (Gordon) Morris and Thomas C. Morris, Sr. She graduated from Groveton High School in 1949. Shortly thereafter, she married William (Bill) Jewell on November 3, 1950. Ann was a homemaker/seamstress throughout her years. Survivors include her five daughters, Wanda Prescher of Rochester, MN, Paula Despres and husband Jacque, of Suncook, NH, Brenda Reilly and husband Peter of Ballston Spa, NY, Shawna Brock and husband Dirk of Spotsylvania, VA and Donna Forrest and husband Michael of Denver, NC; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Smith of Lakeland, Florida. In addition to her parents and her husband of 53 years, Bill, she was predeceased by a brother, Thomas C. Morris, Jr.; a grandson, Sean M. Reilly and a son-in-law, Dennis Prescher. There will be no calling hours. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at the direction of Armstrong Charron Funeral Home, Groveton, New Hampshire.
