Saratoga Springs, NY - Ann L. Ramsey passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 66. Born May 2, 1943 in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (McCraken) Cooper. Ann was a Home Health Aide for 25 years, the last nine being at Senior Solutions of Saratoga Springs. She was very devoted to her family and loved spending time and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Ann was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Ann is predeceased by her husband Lester Ramsey, son Ricky Ramsey, two brothers James and Ernest Cooper and a grandson Arthur Albert Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Laura (Ronald) Boyce of Greenfield, Sherri (Daryl) Burdick of Queensbury; four sons, Lester Ramsey of Greenfield, James (Tammy) Ramsey of So. Glens Falls, Randall (Kimberly) Ramsey of Gansevoort, LeRoy (Bobby-Jo) Ramsey of Gansevoort; sixteen grandchildren, Christopher Boyce, Jennifer Boyce, Victoria Kate Ramsey, Billy-Jo Ramsey, Samantha Smith, John Smith, Crystal Ramsey Mattison, Constance Ramsey, Dustin Ramsey, Arthur Benjamin, Arthur Abel, Sherrilyn, SarahAnn Burdick, Mindy Manning- Ramsey, David Manning- Ramsey, Heather Marie Duppel and several nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8pm Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A funeral service will be conducted 10am Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the family plot at North Milton Cemetery.
