Porter Corners, NY Anna L. Wadsley-Sherman passed away suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 at her home. She was 84. Born on July 13, 1927 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Leona Edwards Scavone. Anna was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and crocheting. She especially loved going on senior trips with her friends. Anna was a member of the United Methodist Church in Porter Corners. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Robert Wadsley, Sr. and a grandson, Joseph Willette. Survivors include her son, Robert Wadsley, Jr. of Porter Corners; her daughters, Donna ODonnell of Saratoga Springs and Diane R. (D. Kevin) Quigley of Cornwell on the Hudson; one brother, John (Furine) Scavone of Schenectady; one sister, Alice Stewart also of Schenectady; her grandchildren, Daniel Willette, Daniel ODonnell, Kelly Mackison, April (John) Bellavigna, Kate (Jon) Lewis, Aileen Quigley, Fawn (Stephen) Way and her great-grandchildren, Garett Mackison and Anthony Bellavigna. There will be no public calling hours. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
