Obituary

Wilton, NY - Annemarie Rienzo Adams welcomed God's loving embrace on December 13, 2022, at the age of 67.

It is impossible to sufficiently capture the enormity of Annemarie's essence in words, so we would like to simply leave all who knew her with her everlasting legacy of faith and family. Her unshakeable faith was the foundation upon which her life was built and the beacon which guided her to her eternal rest. Her profound love for her family was the pillar that weathered any storm and kept all of her plates spinning. Her eternal selflessness, her strength, and her ability to do the impossible inspired all those she met to be the best version of themselves. She was truly everything to everyone.

And on top of all that, she was funny and fun. Boy was she so very funny and fun.

We trust that Annemarie's essence will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her. We ask you to honor her life by being the best version of yourself, and by continuing to share your memories of Annemarie with her family.

Annemarie is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Aloysius Rienzo, who would be overcome with pride at the way that she lived her life to the very end.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Richard, who was her high school sweetheart, her best friend, her fierce protector, and her love of a lifetime. Their marriage was a shining example of what God intended a union to be and was the greatest joy of her life.

She is also survived by her son Brian and his family, her daughter Kathryn and husband Benjamin Clark, her daughter Alexandra and husband Christopher Leon, and her daughter Elizabeth. She leaves behind nine beautiful grandchildren, Wilder, Quinn, Nolan, Luciana, Griffin, Charlotte, Beatrix, Cormac, and Steelie; as well as her siblings Christopher Rienzo, Bernadette Nastasi, Mary Bebber, Aloysius Rienzo, Thomas Rienzo, Elizabeth Rienzo, Karen Vogel, and their spouses; 19 nieces and nephews; and an infinite number of friends that she treated like family.

Annemarie endured every trial of this earthly life with grace and dignity. You did it Ammer…smartly done.
