Schenectady, NY - Annette M. Formichelli of Broadway passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009. She was 91. Born on May 26, 1918 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Carmella (Calandra) Formichelli. Annette was a lifelong resident and worked for 45 years as a machinist in the Turbine Division for General Electric Co. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. Aunt Tony enjoyed gardening, playing cards with her sisters and traveling with her friends from the General Electric Travel Club. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Pasquale, Victor and Angelo Formichelli and seven sisters, Helen DeNofio, Julia Sabatelli, Phyllis Spany, Annie Marie Barone, Mary, Nancy and Victoria Formichelli. Survivors include two sisters, Jane Bohunicky and Lucille Doyle both of Schenectady and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Bond Funeral Home, corner of Broadway and Guilderland Ave., Schenectady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Friday, July 17, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Church on Bradt St. in Schenectady. Burial will be in the family plot at Sts. Cyril and Methods Cemetery, Rotterdam. Annette's family wishes to thank her primary care givers and Community Hospice of Schenectady for their loving and dedicated service.
