Saratoga Springs, NY - AnnMarie Powers Kenyon passed away unexpectedly March 15, 2023. She was born in Saratoga Springs on December 12, 1946 to the late Raymond and Anna (Kashuba) Powers and lived here her entire life.

AnnMarie graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1964. She then attended Mary McClellan Hospital School of Practical Nursing and Adirondack Community College earning her LPN certification.

AnnMarie started her career at Glens Falls Hospital in the pediatric dept. She then worked for Drs Hunt, Meinhardt, Phillips & O'Connell, then went to Saratoga Hospital working in unit D3 for many years. AnnMarie then went to work at Dr. Cetner's private practice on Myrtle Street.  She finished her career working at Riverview Cancer Care Associates, now NYOH, in Rexford.  AnneMarie loved to travel with her family and friends to places like Myrtle Beach, Dollywood, Las Vegas, Hawaii, California, Florida, Wyoming and the Caribbean. She would take her son camping to Alpine Lake in Corinth in their camper. One of her favorite trips was to NYC to see the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes. She loved the Hallmark Channel as well as the show Yellowstone; and was a sports lover from the Yankees to NASCAR as well as local DIRT track racing and just about any other sport. AnnMarie bowled on Monday nights at Saratoga Strike Zone in the Guys and Dolls league. AnnMarie also golfed in the Saratoga Ladies Golf League at Saratoga Spa State Park par 29 course.  AnnMarie had a longtime love of snowmobiling on her Arctic Cats.

AnnMarie is survived by her son David and his wife Barbara (Walcott) and their daughter Carleigh who was her "sweetser/sweetsie".  She is also survived by her cousins MaryAnn Dogias, Jayne Theilemann, Mark Farrington and Kristen Mulcahy and their families.

Relatives and friends may call from 10am-12pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (518-584-5373). A graveside service will follow at 12:30pm at St. Mary's Cemetery in Corinth.
