IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annmarie Mastropietro
Lescarbeau
July 2, 1956 – September 8, 2023
Mechanicville, NY - Annmarie Mastropietro Lescarbeau, daughter of the late Carmine and Theresa Luca Mastropietro entered into Heaven peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2023.
Annmarie was known for her beautiful smile, outpouring of love, positive outlook, fierce determination and unwavering faith.
Born on July 2, 1956, she was determined to touch lives with her warm heart and nurturing spirit. From an early age, it was clear that her calling was to help others. This passion led her to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated as an LPN from BOCES in high school, then an RN from Maria College; and later in life, she earned a dual Master degree in Nursing from SUNY Utica Rome.
After dedicating years to caring for patients in the hospital setting, Leonard Hospital and then St. Peter's Hospital, she transitioned into a role as a visiting nurse, before ultimately applying her expertise in the insurance setting, where she worked tirelessly to ensure individuals received the support they needed for their health and well-being. She also gave back to the profession by teaching student nurses at Mildred Elley College of Nursing. Her colleagues, patients and students alike were touched by her unwavering commitment to healing and comfort.
Within her family, Annmarie was the cornerstone of love and support. She was a best friend to her husband, Christopher. Her children Michael (Stephanie) Moll and Stephanie (Jay) Haney, and grandchildren Jack and Sophie Haney were the center of her world. She showered them with boundless affection, wisdom and guidance. She is also survived by her brother Carmine (Paula) Mastropietro and a cherished extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling. She and Christopher would cruise from the Caribbean to Nova Scotia seeing new places and meeting new people.
Annmarie was a shining example of what it means to be truly kind-hearted. She approached every situation with empathy, offering solace to those in need and a listening ear to those who sought comfort. Her legacy of kindness will live on through the countless lives she touched.
