Saratoga Springs, NY - Anthony P. Delaurie, Sr. passed away peacefully Friday April 30, 2010 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 59. Born June 13, 1950 in Saratoga Springs, he was a son of the late Aurora Gagnon and Leo George Delaurie. Anthony served in the United States Army in the early seventies and was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. He spent many years as a truck driver. Anthony also owned and operated his own construction business. He enjoyed camping, boating, Drag racing and spending time with his three sons and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Dorothy Delaurie Hudson; three sons, Anthony Jr., Lucas and Ryan; two sisters, Karen O'Donnell and Patricia Hammond; a brother, Stuart Delaurie, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Anthony will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Relatives and friends may call from noon to 1pm Thursday May 6, 2010 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373), followed by a funeral service will at 1pm. Burial will be private.
