Obituary

Gansevoort, NY- Anthony J. Tasso, Sr., of Rolling Hills Drive, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 76. Born on May 2, 1937 in Albany, NY, he is the son of the late Ededio and Nellie (Bindulski) Tasso and he retired from the Golub Corporation following many years as the Vice President of Meat Merchandising. Aside from his passion for work, he was an usher and member of Bethesda Episcopal Church, an avid pet lover and frequently enjoyed boating on Lake George with his many friends. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Barbara (Tykwinski) Tasso; his son, Anthony of Folsum, LA and his daughter, Theresa Tasso of Rochester, NY; one brother, Gene Tasso of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved greatly. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one brother, Francis Tasso. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 9 to10am at Bethesda Episcopal Church, 41 Washington Street at Broadway, Saratoga Springs, followed by a funeral service at 10am in the church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, NY. The family wishes to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the doctors and staff at Saratoga Hospital. Memorials may be made in his name to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
