Saratoga Springs - Arlene N. Bull died peacefully at home on Saturday May 22, 2021.

Born July 3, 1942 in Ballston Spa, she was the daughter of the late Walter & Velma Benson Sweet.

She worked for many years in food services for Saratoga Springs High School, retiring many years ago. Arlene was married to the late Harold Bull. They enjoyed going on local bus trips to Casinos and vacationing and cruising anywhere tropical during their 55 years of marriage. She loved and spent a lot of time gardening and taking care of all of her flowers and always took pride in her manicured lawn. Arlene was well known for her caring and nurturing ways and her amazing sense of style. Her biggest, longest and most important role was being a "nana". She's cared for all her grandchildren throughout the past 30 years and she just enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones more than anything else.

In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was predeceased by sisters-in-law Carol Sweet, Lydia Covell, Jean Bush, and Barbara Bull; and brothers-in-law LD Bull, Fred Bull and Gifford Bull.

She is survived by her three children; Michael Bull and his wife Mary, Vicky Bull, Lori Weekly and her husband John C Weekly Jr; three grandchildren that she adored, Lori's children Britney Bull and Logan Bertrand and Mike's daughter Nicole Bull, her sibling, Walter Sweet, brother-in-law Carl Bull and his wife Marge, sister-in-law Lillian Bull as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friend may call from 4 to 7pm Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A funeral service for Arlene will be 10am Friday May 28, 2021 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the family plot at Maplewood Cemetery, Weible Ave.
