Saratoga Springs, NY - Arthur W. Rose died on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the age of 74. Born to the late Edward and Sylvia Rose on Sept. 4, 1939 in the Bronx, NY, Arthur graduated from Carle Place High School, L.I. in 1957. He married Susan C. Bowman in 1963 and they lived on Long Island before relocating to Saratoga Springs in 2001. He was a certified member of the American Society of Architectural Hardware Consultants and was the owner of Custom Design Sales and Mfg. in Bohemia, L.I. until he retired. He loved to play golf, travel and had a great sense of humor. Arthur is survived by his wife, Susan; his daughters Sharon Tilly and her husband Schuyler and their 3 children, Heather, Matthew and Alexander of Halfmoon; Sandra Peckham and her 4 children, Kaitlin, Cory, Andrew and Megan of Latham, NY. A private memorial service was held for immediate family at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
