Ballston Spa, NY- Barbara A. Faber, 81, lost her battle against cancer on September 17, 2021 at her home in Ballston Spa.

Barbara was born on August 11, 1940 in Mount Kisco, New York to the late Beatrice and William Duckfield. She graduated from Richmond Hill high school in Queens New York. After working in Manhattan for Cushman and Wakefield she married Gerald R. Faber on April 27, 1963. They added to their family three children and she worked in the church mouse nursery school at the first Baptist Church of Ballston Spa.

Barbara was an amazingly kind, compassionate and courageous lady. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and party planning. She was creative and proficient at several crafts.

Barbara is survived by her husband Gerald Faber and her three children: Donna Faber-Soukey, Jennifer Faber-Gerling, and Jerry Faber.  She also has five grandchildren: Adison Propst, Jaxon Gerling and set of triplets Paige, Madisen, and Molly Gerling.

The family would like to thank all the medical professionals who helped her wage her battle.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10am to 12pm on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, with brief service to follow.  Interment will follow at the Ballston Spa Village Cemetery.
