Malta, NY - Barbara K. Hannon passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012. Born on March 12, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Mae Kenworthy. Barbara was a registered nurse and worked at Saratoga Hospital. She also did private duty work and volunteered for the Community Hospice of Saratoga and the Saratoga City Center. In addition to her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her husband Thomas Hannon. Survivors include two brothers, Bryan Kenworthy of Idaho and Judson Kenworthy of North Carolina; her children, Maureen (Andrew) Scala of New Hampshire, Michael Hannon of Connecticut, Mary Hannon of Saratoga Springs, Marty Hannon of Florida, Meg (Robert)Falco of Malta, Mark (Maria) Hannon of Scotia; ten grandchildren, Courtney,Mathew,Danielle,Brandy,Ashley,Nicholas,Ryan,Patrick,Katherine and Thomas; eight great- grandchildren ,Trinity, Athena, Bella, Graham, Caeli, Mason, Noah and Eva and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 10am to 11am Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am, at the church, by the Rev. Matthew B. Wetsel, Associate Pastor.
