Milton, NY – Barbara Jean (Max) Jordan, 74, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at the Fulton Center for Rehab after a long illness. Born on March 31, 1947 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank, Sr. and Marilyn (Swartout) Max.

Barbara graduated from Saint Peter's High School and went on to receive her R.N. Degree from Troy Samaritan Nursing School. With this, she worked in local hospitals and with people with disabilities in Ballston Spa, as well as at Wal Mart. Barbara also volunteered her time at Saratoga Hospital.

A beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, grandmother and friend to all- Barbara loved all of her friends and neighbors. Often giving gifts, writing letters and sending cards on all occasions. Being a longtime supporter of the A.S.P.C.A., she above all, loved all of her cats; especially one black cat names Mona (to everyone else she was known as the "Devil Cat"), who protected her at all cost!

Along with her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband Louie. She is survived by her children: Tara (Alonzo) Millhouse, Jamie Alonzo, and Jimmy Alonzo; brother Frank Max, Jr. (of Greenfield Center); many grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
