Saratoga Springs, NY - Beatrice C. Monroe, "Bea", passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Saratoga Hospital. She was 65 years young. Bea spent over the last 20 years working at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She loved animals and donated to various wildlife and domestic animal charities, such as the ASPCA. Bea leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Albert Monroe; her son Richard Monroe; her daughter Kim Monroe; step-son Albert Monroe; several grandchildren and many wonderful friends as well as her cat Shadow. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8pm Friday, August 3, 2012 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Funeral services will be at 10am Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot at Maplewood Cemetery, Corner of Weibel Avenue & Loudon Road, Saratoga Springs.
