Saratoga Springs, NY- Benjamin F. Amero passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2025. The son of Benjamin F. and Mary Ann Amero, he was born on August 30, 1961 in Lynn, Mass.

Benjamin proudly served in the United States Air Force before continuing his career at Lynn Hardware Store, as well as Gordon Aluminum and PVC Industries.

He had a deep love for nature and for the Lord, and was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Saratoga Springs. Above all, Benjamin treasured his family — his grandchildren were the light of his life.

Benjamin was predeceased by his father. Left to cherish his memory are his children Tiffany Amero of NY, Elisabeth Amero of CA, and Benjamin Amero of PA; as well as his grandchildren Madison & Tristan. He is also survived by his mother Mary Ann Amero of PA; sisters Gudrun Ashton (spouse) Robert Ashton of MA, Tracey Hawthorne (spouse) David Hawthorne of NY, Tammy Smith (spouse) Larry Smith of PA, Mary Chris Amero of PA, and Jennifer Nelson (spouse) Chad Nelson of FL; nieces and nephews Andrew, Savannah, Wes, Aly and Charlie; ex-wife Lura Amero of NY; longtime friend Joyce Ellsworth of NY; father figure Charles Long; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved pet Midnight.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A funeral home service will follow at 7:00PM.
