Clifton Park, NY – Bernadette Davidow McElhenny passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at her home. She was 88.

Born on September 17, 1928 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Anne (Leddy) Brady.  Bernadette was a member of St. Clement's Church in Saratoga Springs. A wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to all her family members, she taught them by her example that family comes first.

In addition to her parents, Bernadette was predeceased by her first husband, William M. Davidow in 1989 and her second husband, William J. McElhenny in 2008.

Survivors include her children, William Davidow of Baltimore, MD, Kevin Davidow of Manhattan, NY, Timothy (Patrice) Davidow of Valhalla, NY, Dennis (Daisy) Davidow of Alpharetta, GA, Patricia (Mark) Malmgren of Clemson, SC, Mary McCormack of Clifton Park, NY and Kathleen (Thomas) McElhenny of Mason, OH; eighteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Paar of Garden City, NY, brother Charles Brady of Pine Hurst, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8pm Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Thursday. May 11th at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs and burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Huletts Landing.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bernadette's memory to the Chapel of the Assumption, Huletts Landing, NY 12841.
