Saratoga Springs, NY Bernard L. Weeks passed away quietly in his sleep Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 after several years at Wesley Health Care Center. He was 91. Born on Feb. 12, 1920 in Spaford, NY, he was the son of the late Fred and Ava Hiller Weeks. Bernard worked for many years at the Columbia Rope Factory in Auburn, NY. He was a handyman in general and worked at farming and also loved growing roses. Bernard enjoyed the race track during the summer months. He was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald and Horace Weeks. Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Katura of Syracuse and a nephew, Fred Weeks. Services and burial at Weedsport Rural Cemetary will be announced in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
