Saratoga Springs, NY - Bernice E. Perrino passed away Thursday (Oct. 30, 2008) at her residence. She was 79. Born on Aug. 10, 1929 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ruth Morris Freeman. A very talented woman, she could always be found knitting, crocheting, cooking or spending time in her flower garden. Following in her mother's footsteps, she had a passion for education, spending time with her grandchildren, homeschooling them in many areas as only she could. Bernice was devoted to her Episcopal faith. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Augustine Perrino; two daughters, Dianne Henderson and her husband Ray of Greenfield Center and Darlene Neville and her husband Larry of Saratoga Springs; one son, Anthony Perrino of Greenfield Center; one sister, Gladys Freeman of Saratoga Springs; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 6pm Sunday (Nov. 2, 2008) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). A funeral service will be conducted at 10am Monday at the funeral home and burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery.
