Saratoga Springs, NY - Betsy Jo Ann Fleming, 66, entered eternity on Saturday, August 14th after a lengthy battle following a stroke.

Betsy was born on January 8, 1955 to the late John and Alice Fleming of Saratoga Springs, NY. Though not well traveled, she was fluent in multiple languages, including Sign, Bad English and Sarcasm.  As a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs, Betsy dipped her toes in many endeavors throughout the years. These ranged from owning/operating her own pizza shop, buying and selling real estate, computer repair work, rental property maintenance and most recently, working cashier and front end at Market 32. Never one to let a good grudge go to waste, and often quick with witty one liners, she was also a compassionate and giving friend, helping where she could and often put others needs before her own.

In her free time, you could find her caring for reptiles, planting flowers, crafting or watching an American Pickers marathon.

She leaves behind four siblings, Greta Clements, John aka "Jack" (Nancy) Fleming, Sandra (Mark) Oginski and Mary (Joseph) Samascott. Her two beloved sons, Scott (Cherie) Tessier, and John (Larisa) Tessier. Four grandchildren she adored, Jaelynne, Jack, Jillian, and Daisy, and many nieces, nephews, and other dear family members.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be at 10:00am on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
