Middle Grove, NY Betty Lou Pauley passed away peacefully on January 18, 2012 at her home. She was 79. Born on June 15, 1932 in Bridgeport, CT. she was the daughter of the late Pearl Jones of Schenectady. Betty Lou was married to the late George Pauley, a World War II veteran. She worked for 25 years as a graphic designer for Knolls Atomic and following her retirement she pursued her passion for the arts. Betty Lou was an award winning artist and photographer. Survivors include her brother, Gordon Jones of Nashville, TN; her nephews, Roger Brown of Middle Grove, NY and George Kirk of Richmond, VA; her nieces Carol Silber of Albany, NY and Diane MacQuilliam of Gambrills, MD. A private memorial service was held at her home officiated by the Rev. Canon William Small of Saranac Lake, NY. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373).
