Saratoga Springs, NY - Bradley C. Ovitt of Allen Drive passed away Friday (Apr. 17, 2009) at his residence. He was 57. Born on Oct. 2, 1952 in Corinth, he was a son of the late Lewis and Beverly (Richardson) Ovitt. A US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he had been employed as a nurse at the Wilton Developmental Center in Wilton. Survivors include three children, Novia LaGrave of Ballston Spa, Stacey Ovitt and Bradley Meyers; two sisters, Donna Mayette of Saratoga Springs and Shirley Rose of Wilton; three brothers, Lewis Ovitt, Jr., of Fort Edward, Clayton Ovitt of Malta and Gary Ovitt of Glens Falls and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 6-8pm Tuesday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Funeral service will be conducted at 9:30am Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Butler officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
