Saratoga Springs, NY - Carl Pannullo, formally of Long Island, NY, currently residing in Saratoga Springs, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, November 16, 2014. He was 84 years old. Born on August 29, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Vincent and Rose Scrivo Pannullo. A Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War, Carl was stationed in England where he met his wife of 62 years, Kathleen Anderson Pannullo. Returning to the US, they settled in Elmont, NY and raised 3 children, was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as a Grand Knight of the Twelve Apostles Council in Franklin Square, NY. He was owner of the Long Island Monument Company and worked many years for the Town of Hempstead. After retiring they moved to West Babylon, NY, where they lived for 16 years. Just recently Carl and Kathy moved to Saratoga Springs, NY to be near family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Besides his wife Kathleen, survivors include his son Michael of El Cerrito, CA, his daughters, Susan Paciolla (Tom Flynn) of Broadalbin, NY and Kristine Vanin (Michael) of Westwood, MA, four grandchildren, Christopher Paciolla, Gillian Paciolla (Jake Perron), Caitlin Vanin and Cara Vanin and three great grandchildren, Charlotte, Jorja and Jackson Perron. Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 6pm Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A funeral home service will take place at 11am Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 and burial with military honors will follow at 12noon at the Gerald B.H.
