Saratoga Springs, NY - Carol Ann Curran, 54, loving mother of four, died June 30, 2014 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, NY. She was a devoted and caring wife to William Joseph Curran III for almost 32 years, since their marriage in Bethlehem, PA, on July 17, 1982. Born on February 16, 1960, she was the daughter of Theresa and the late Robert McClarin. An impeccable student her whole life, she was an honors graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School in 1978, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, in 1982. On February 11, 1984, she and William received three bundles of joy in the form of triplets, Megan, Brenden, and Sean Curran. A year later, on June 29, 1985, they greeted a fourth child into the world, William Curran IV. Carol took enormous pride in her children and she viewed motherhood as a gift and the greatest job in the world. After her children grew, she enjoyed a professional career in logistics with General Electric and Momentive Performance Materials. She was a member of St. Clements Roman Catholic Church and she volunteered at Mary's Haven, a holistic hospice, both in Saratoga Springs, NY. She enjoyed travel and summer vacations in Ocean City, NJ, planning and cooking for holidays and parties, and most of all spending time with her family and its newest additions in 2013, her grandchildren. She is survived by William and their four children; Megan, her husband Charles Contompasis, and their son Maxwell (Niskayuna, NY); Brenden (New York, NY), Sean, his wife Rabiah Curran, and their son Finn (Arlington, MA), and William (New York, NY). She is also survived by her mother Theresa, as well as her sister Theresa Krebs, wife of William Krebs; sister Kathy McClarin-Meluskey; and brother Robert McClarin, and his wife Joan, all of the Bethlehem, PA area. Other survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces on both the McClarin and Curran sides of the family, plus old friends and colleagues, and many others touched by her unending and unwavering generosity. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Monday, July 7, 2014 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. Burial will follow at the Gerald B.H.
