Providence, NY - Carolyn S. Ness passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was 59. Born on February 16, 1950 in Shawnee, KS, she was the daughter of Edna (Hibbs) and the late Ernest Van Hoet. In addition to her mother, Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Ferrand (Chip) L. Ness of Providence; daughter Brandy J. (Jason) Lant of Wilton; son Eric M. (Val) Ness of Saratoga Springs; grandchildren Jack and Garret Lant; brother Michael (Terri) Van Hoet of Shawnee, KS and nieces Gretchen (Van Hoet) Ganey of Portland, OR and Erin Van Hoet of Shawnee, KS. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Friday, March 6, 2009 at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373).
