Gansevoort, NY – Charles E. Clark, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at his home.

Born on Sept. 24, 1927 in Easton, NY, he was the son of the late Jesse and Frances (Freeman) Clark. For several years Charles worked in the mailroom at the Wilton Developmental Center. He enjoyed camping and spending time in the great outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his siblings, Violet Oliver, Jesse Clark, Jr., Joseph Clark, Gorman Clark, Lauretta Dowen, Ruth Dowen, Marilyn Bayer, Bertha Whipple and Beverly Martin.

Survivors include his children, Sharon (Bill) McDowell of Wilton, Victoria Clark of Ballston Spa, Charles Clark of Gansevoort and Kevin (Lori) Clark of Johnstown; his brothers, Donald (Ellen) Clark of FL, Fred (Carol) Clark, Martin (Jo-Anne) Clark, Richard (Janet) Clark all of Saratoga Springs, Kenneth (Anna Mae) Clark of Ballston Spa, sisters, Alice Vidnansky of Saratoga Springs, Marlene (Doug) Fuller of Ballston Spa; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11am Tuesday, March 21, 2017, with funeral services at 11am, at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs. Burial will take place in the spring at Greenfield Cemetery.
