Saratoga Springs, NY – Charles Peter Kennedy (Pete), beloved son, brother, and friend, died at the age of 38 on Thursday, September 21st in a tragic accident while doing what he loved; swimming in Sacandaga Lake.

He graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and became a highly skilled chef. Pete enjoyed music and attending concerts. Among his favorites were the Grateful Dead and Phish.

He is survived by his mother, Carol, of Saratoga Springs, his father, Charles (Anne), of Newburyport, MA, his brother, Rowan (Kali), of New Orleans and friend Lindsay of Saratoga Springs. Pete will be remembered for his smile, his kind spirit, and his humor. He was loved by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Pete's Life at 4pm Monday September 25, 2017 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Saratoga Springs, 624 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY. All who attend are asked to wear bright colors as this will be a celebration of Pete's life.
