Saratoga Springs, NY - Christina A. Ellithorpe, 77, passed away on Tuesday September 19, 2017, in the arms of her sons after a long illness. She is survived by her two sons Michael Santaski and Thomas Santaski, her dogs Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan, step-son Ernest Ellithorpe and step-daughter Patricia LaClair, her long time neighbor and friend Ruth DeBottis, and her best friend Sharon Venn. She is pre-deceased by first husband Bernard Santaski, second husband Donald Ellithorpe, brother Frank Allen and mom and dad, Mr. Charles and Mrs. Rose Allen of Lansingburgh.

Chris was a devoted wife, mother, volunteer and humanitarian. She worked for the Town of Wilton and helped start the Wilton Teen Center and Recreation Programs. Later she would go on to cook for the Wilton Senior Center. Her interests included cooking, gardening, outdoor activities, traveling, music and dancing, playing cards, social activism and helping youth, animal shelters and food banks, and having pets.

Relatives and friends are welcome to a graveside service at 10AM, Saturday October 14, at Memory Gardens, Sea of Tranquility, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205. Following at 1PM, all are welcome to a celebration of life at Nanola, 2639 U.S. 9, Malta, NY 12020. A buffet will be provided and live music from our friends.
