IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clement
Clark
August 21, 1926 – January 13, 2026
Saratoga Springs - Clement E. Clark, 99, of Brook Road, a devoted husband and father, a 32 year grocery store manager and a 50 year raceway parking superintendent, passed away January 13, 2026, at home, following a long productive life and now is reunited with his beloved wife of 72 years, Bernadine Clark. He was surrounded by his family who had been keeping vigil for two weeks when the peaceful, quiet end finally arrived. A graduate of Saratoga High School, he grew up in Saratoga with his extended family.
He is predeceased by his parents Winifred and Clement A. Clark, sister Minnie (Clark) Bolster, and brother Richard Clark. Survivors include his three children, Jennifer Clark (Peter), Rosemary Gold (Peter), and Jim Clark (Donna); grandchildren Rebecca Gold, Erin Clark Diehl, and Lauren Macdonald (Rian); and great grandchildren Savannah and Tristin Macdonald, and Evelyn Clark Diehl.
He will be remembered as the rock-solid head of his family with daily work at two jobs never too long or too difficult. Somehow he found time with his wife Bernadine to transform their back yard into a garden of paths, colorful plantings, a hand dug koi pond, and a "cabin" which was finally completed by his children as Clement and Bernadine dreamed it would be. Along the way he learned how to ski, weave baskets, and earn a license to fly a plane. He honed his carpentry, masonry, and electrical skills in building his own home as a helper to the trades.
