Saratoga Springs, NY - Clifford "Cliff" Scott Klein of Madison Street, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (Oct 13, 2012) at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 42. Born on March 4, 1970 in Gloversville, he is a son of Philip W. and Lynne (Thomas) Klein. A 1988 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, he served as a former acolyte at Bethesda Episcopal Church. An avid outdoorsman, he had a tremendous appreciation for kayaking, skiing and hiking, always enjoying his camp on Lake Lonely. Quick witted, he had a dry sense of humor, an infectious laugh and a strong heart of gold. His generosity to others continues as he gifted the sense of vision to others through the regional Lions Club Eye bank. In addition to his parents of Saratoga Springs, survivors include his five year old son, Carter John Klein and Carter's mother, Erin of PA; his brother, Philip T. Klein of Saratoga Springs; his father and mother-in-law, John and Sherry Ebersole of PA. Cliff had many friends and always had a special bond with his closest friend, Chad Waters. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Tuesday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway 584-5373. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Wednesday at the Burke Funeral Home and interment will be private.
