Saratoga Springs - Miss Constance "Connie" A. Farone passed away Monday (Apr. 20, 2009) at her residence. She was 77. Born on April 6, 1932 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis J. "Doc" and Margaret E. (Hickok) Farone and was a lifelong resident. A graduate of William Smith College, she previously had worked at Skidmore College and for many years, Connie operated the Farone family real estate business. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one sister, Louise Blanch. Survivors include her sister and brother, Joan Snyder and Louis J. Farone, Jr., both of Saratoga Springs; her nephews and nieces, Joseph D. Snyder, Margaret J. Snyder, Jeffrey L. Snyder, Louis J. Farone, III, Peter G. Farone and Laura Farone, all of Saratoga Springs, John Blanch of VT and Connie Blanch of Virginia; numerous grand nieces, grand nephews and her longtime friend and companion, Edward McMahon of Saratoga Springs. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8pm Wednesday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Services will be held at 11am Thursday at the Burke Funeral Home and burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave. Memorials may be made in her name to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
