Saratoga Springs, NY - Cynthia Marie Neilen, born July 5, 1956 in Saratoga Springs, passed away peacefully at her home in Florida, on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Cindy was the daughter of the late Stanley V. Eddy and Frances Eddy LaPlante (Everette LaPlante) and daughter-in-law of the late Dorothy and Clement Neilen. She is survived by her husband Jeffrey; son Andrew (Vickie); four grandchildren Drew, Adriana, Juliana, and Mya; two sisters, Denise (Dale Hoffman) and Sharron (Mike Cataldo); a brother Stanley V. Eddy III; step-daughter Christina Campbell and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cindy was a caring and loving person, who put others needs first. She loved life and was always smiling. She enjoyed sitting on the beach on a sunny day while spending time with her grandchildren. Cindy worked several years with mentally challenged adults and also with her son in his pizza shops. She will be lovingly remembered by all whose paths she crossed, especially the many children she influenced while volunteering for the American Little League.

Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 5:30pm Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A funeral home service will follow at 5:30pm. Burial will be private.
