Mechanicville, NY – Daria A. Martone passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Saratoga Center, formerly Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa. She was 71.

Born March 27, 1947 in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Louicka "Gus" A. and Esther E. Limberg Martone. Daria loved being with her family, friends and neighbors. She was a baseball fan, enjoyed reading the Schenectady Gazette, biographies and autobiographies as well as doing crossword puzzles, word searches and watching her favorite shows on TV. Daria's home for the last ten years was at Maplewood Manor, where she was known as the "Mayor of Maplewood."

In addition to her parents, Daria was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Sue Ann Martone.

Survivors include two brothers, Lawrence Martone and his wife Elaine of Pelham, NH, Ludwig "J.R." Martone of Mechanicville and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no calling hours and funeral services were private.

Burial was in the family plot at St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville.
