David G Fahrenkopf, 50, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away June 1, 2022, after a brief illness in Orlando Florida. David was born on March 6, 1972, in Albany New York and was the son of James R Fahrenkopf, Sr. (Joanne) of Ravena, New York and Darlene G Wood (Robert) of East Greenbush, New York.
He was predeceased by his son Michael James Fahrenkopf, and stepmother Elizabeth Fahrenkopf.
David received his MBA in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations and Computer Information Systems from SUNY in 2002.
David's career began with Anheuser-Busch where he worked in end-to-end Supply Chain Management for 18 years. He then worked for Coca Cola in Needham Heights MA. From there he located to the Sunshine State and worked for Sun Orchard Juicery and Borden Dairies. Most recently, he was an Import/Export Transportation Manager for Blue Diamond Growers in Sacramento California. While maintaining his home in Florida he also was a Licensed Florida Realtor for Exp Realty in Siesta Key, Florida.
David loved his family and friends and had a passion for cooking, in particular top-notch BBQ. He enjoyed hunting with his family, with frequent success. David loved and cared deeply for others. He was often buying homeless people food and helping them when they asked. He loved to build and would jump in and help anyone in need.
David loved riding his bike and bird watching. He never missed the opportunity to walk his dogs Ninja and Bentley at sunset to enjoy the end-of-day beauty. David had a strong love for God and his relationship with others was built on his belief that God loves all and so should he.
David was survived by his wife Pamela Fahrenkopf of 24 years, daughters Brianna Fahrenkopf, Kaitlyn Fahrenkopf, and stepdaughters Sherilyn St Louis, Jennifer Hargreaves (Mark), Erica Pimentel (Claudio), seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson, siblings Louis Newburg (Nancy), Robert Wood (Susan), Stephen Wood, Tracy Douglas (Steven), James R Fahrenkopf, JR., and Stacey Malatesta (Joseph), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY (518-584-5373) on Wednesday, June 8th, from 4-6pm. A Funeral Homes Service will be held on June 9th at 10 am. A Christian burial follow at St Peter's Cemetery 150 West Avenue Saratoga Springs, New York.
