Saratoga Springs, NY - Dolores Jean (Dzamko) McGee was born on Sunday, August 18, 1929 in Danbury, Connecticut. She walked into the warm and loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Dolores was a twin and the second youngest of eight children. She married William McGee, the love of her life, on June 19, 1948. They moved to Saratoga Springs in 1953 and raised two daughters, Patricia (Robert) Goodwin of Saratoga Springs and Pamela (Mark) Winters of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and her Lord. For the past 17 years, Dolores has worked at the after-school program at St. Clement School where she dearly loved those children and their families. They loved her back! On her last day at school, she made a paper airplane for one of the students! Bill predeceased Dolores in 1978. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by one sister, Veronica; she was blessed with three grandchildren, William Goodwin of Saratoga, Zachary (Lane) Winters of Norman, Oklahoma and Alex (Breezy) Winters of Ventura, California, all of whom she adored, and three great-grandchildren, Leif, Ramona and Baby Boy Winters of Oklahoma. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7pm Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Thursday, Oct. 22,2015 in St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. and burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to LUNGevity.org., where a tribute page will be set up in Dolores' memory.
