Saratoga Springs, NY - Donald F. Bryson, age 73, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday June 23, 2012. Born August 12, 1938 in Oneida, NY, he was the son of Laura Wright Bryson and Bartholomew James Bryson. Donald was a graduate of Canastota High School and served 6 years in the United States Navy. He worked as a boilermaker for nearly 30 years, many of those years at the Kesselring site in West Milton, NY. He also once served as President of Boilermakers Union 197 in Albany, NY. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Laural A. Bryson and his children, Donald Jr. (Debbie), Bonnie (Matt), Thomas (Andrea), Lori (Chris), Glenda, Teresa, and Lisa. He also has 12 grandchildren, Zach, Jenna, Jacob, Matthew, Julia, Peyton, Joseph, Benjamin, Shaun, Joshua and Ashley; his brother, Stewart Bryson (Patricia) of Canastota and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his sister Joan Bryson and grandson Johnathon Kirk. Donald was a kind and generous son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is loved and will be greatly missed by many. A private service and burial will take place at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.
