Saratoga Springs – Donald A. Covell, 63, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2017 at the Saratoga Center for Rehabilitation in Ballston Spa. He was born on November 12, 1953 in Saratoga Springs to Emmett and Agnes Covell.

After graduating high school Donald enlisted in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge from the armed forces he received a National Defense Service Medal as a rifle marksman.

Donald is predeceased by his father. Survivors include his mother, Agnes Covell of Saratoga Springs, his daughter Meghan Covell (John Bonarrigo) of Wilton, brother Edward (Dawn) Covell of Greenfield, his loving grandchildren Justin Babcock, Jr. and Angelina and Dominick Bonarrigo. Donald is also survived by his nieces Meredith (Wally) Rumpf of Greenfield, Kristin and Heather Gaba of Greenfield, his nephew Chad Covell of Hadley, and many cousins.

There will be no public calling hours and services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial with military honors will be held at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
