Saratoga Springs, NY - Dorothy Margaret Dottie Vogt of Ballston Ave. passed away on November 26, 2008, at home. She was 83. Born August 11, 1925, in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Jones. Dottie and her husband, Paul Vogt, were married November 23, 1943, and spent 64 years together until his passing in October 2007. They moved to Saratoga Springs in the early 1950s to raise their family. Dottie was a homemaker devoted to her husband and eight children. For many years she was a member of the Y Womens Club, giving her time at barn sales, pancake days, and craft shows, among other events, to help benefit the Family YMCA. In addition to her parents and husband, Dottie is pre-deceased by her son Jeffrey Vogt, grandson Stephen Welch, sister Catherine Thela, and brother Albert Jones. Survivors include her beloved children, Sandra King, Lynn Henderson and husband Robert, Sharon Keogh and husband Patrick, Suzanne Ezell and husband Joe, Bruce Vogt and wife Florence, Heidi Curtis and husband Richard, and Paul Scott Vogt; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister Eleanor DAndrea; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothys children wish to thank Dr. Paul Okosky & staff and Dr. Daniel Kredentser & staff, for the care and support they provided to her. They also wish to express their sincere love and appreciation to the Guckemus family for a lifetime of friendship and caring, and for watching over Mom and Dad. A private burial will be held at the Dunning Street Cemetery in Malta at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
