Wilton, NY - E. Theora Toole passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 97. Born on July 7, 1915 in Cohoes, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis R. and Elizabeth (Kinsella) Knoop of Cohoes. She attended the Academy of the Holy Names in Albany and the College of New Rochelle College where she graduated in 1936. Throughout her life, Theora volunteered for many organizations and causes. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, traveling with her husband and a good game of bridge or golf. She was the devoted wife for over 70 years to the late Edward J. Toole, who died on October 23, 2011. She was the loving mother of daughters Marcia A. Toole of Putney, VT and Nancy E. Toole of Saratoga Springs, and sons Edward J. Toole of Rotterdam, Robert M. Toole of Saratoga Springs, David W. Toole of Greenville, NH and the late Peter L. Toole. "Mom", as she was universally called in the family (even by her husband), is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at St. Pius X Chapel, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. The Rite of Committal will follow at the family plot in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
