Saratoga Springs – Earl Joseph Phillips passed away peacefully in his sleep at Mary's Haven on March 27, 2025.

He was born on October 28, 1961 in Saratoga Springs, NY the son of the late Robert and Anita Phillips.

Earl was a 1979 graduate of Saratoga High School. After high school he went to Paul Smith's college in the Adirondacks and Russel Sage Colleges in Albany, NY.

He was employed by Brian Boyce Construction, Target and McDonalds.  He enjoyed going to the races and to Yankee Stadium with his buddies. In his spare time at home Earl worked hard at getting his lawn to look nice.  He made sure every weed and crab grass was gone and the lawn was as green as it could get.  He also loved spending time with his dogs, Mitzi, Lizzy, Tati and Bell.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of Earl.  We will miss his sense of humor, his smile and his laugher.

Earl is survived by his sister, Paula Phillips of Saratoga Springs; aunt, Reah Henne of Hernando, Fl.; uncle, John Ryan and his wife, Karen of Rumson, NJ.

He is predeceased by his parents; sister, Ellen Phillips of Saratoga Springs; several uncles and aunts.

Relatives and friends may call from 10-11am, Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Church of St. Peter 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am.

Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
