Rome, NY – Edward J. Benfey passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility. He was 61.

Edward was born May 30, 1956 in Syracuse, NY and was the son of the late Agnes L. (O'Connor) and Rudolf Benfey. He is survived by his sister Louise Benfey and brothers David and Peter Benfey.

Edward's family would like to thank the staff of The Grand at Rome for their many years of care.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
